Elk River Band Boosters – Mission Statement
The Elk River Band Booster Organization is a dedicated group of parents and guardians committed to enriching the musical experience of students in the Concert Band and Wind Symphony at Elk River High School. We believe that music education fosters discipline, creativity, teamwork, and personal growth. We strive to ensure that every student has the opportunity to thrive in a supportive and well-resourced environment.
Our mission is to actively support the Elk River Band program through volunteerism, fundraising, and event coordination, working in close partnership with band directors, school staff, and the broader community. We recognize that the success of our band program depends on the collective efforts of engaged families, and we welcome all parents to join us in building a vibrant and inclusive musical community.

Our specific goals include:
- Fundraising & Sponsorship Excellence: Organize fundraising initiatives and request sponsorship throughout our community that provide financial support for instruments, uniforms, travel expenses, competition fees, and other essential resources.
- Trip & Event Coordination: Assist in planning and managing band trips, concerts, and special events to ensure smooth logistics, safety, and memorable experiences for all participants.
- Community Engagement: Promote awareness and appreciation of the band program within the Elk River community through outreach, performances, and collaborative events.
- Transparent Communication: Maintain open and consistent communication with band families through meetings, newsletters, and digital platforms to keep everyone informed and involved.
- Volunteer Mobilization: Encourage active parent participation by creating meaningful volunteer opportunities that match individual interests and availability.
- Student Support & Recognition: Celebrate student achievements and milestones, and provide encouragement and resources that help students reach their full musical potential.
