CONCERT BAND
The Concert Band is an ensemble that plays fun, creative music, makes better musicians and works on teamwork while working on building quality character traits that will carry-on throughout a person's life. This band is primarily made up of underclassmen and is also a preparation ensemble for Wind Symphony. Our year starts with a high-octane approach to learning the many pep band tunes we play at the various athletic events up to homecoming then leads into preparation for our three annual concerts, contest and the MSHSL solo/ensemble contest. Our focus is on solid fundamentals. Having fun drives all that is learned in the course.
