We want to shine a light on the great work our ERHS students are doing so we created a student spotlight section to share some of the work and highlights of the ERHS Band Program's members.

Student Spotlight 2019-2020
Our student this week is Senior Hannah Hawley. Hannah plays the Sax in Wind Symphony. Being involved with church and side gigs are a couple other things that keeps Hannah busy outside of Wind Symphony. This is Hannah’s 7th year playing a musical instrument. In addition to the sax, Hannah enjoys learning the drums, bass, and playing piano. All state Jazz, all conference 1st chair, and recording a CD are just a few of Hannah’s many accomplishments. Hannah’s advice to underclassmen musicians and to be successful managing your time is; Try to see the bigger picture, balance, and have a planner and use it! Hannah’s plans for after high school is all things music and trying to understand how Improvisational music (jazz) is related to spiritual-consciousness.
